This policy explains when and how items can be returned, exchanged, or refunded. A clear return/refund policy builds trust and also helps reduce confusion or disputes for an online store.
Note: Local consumer laws may still require certain protections (for example, refunds for faulty or misdescribed goods in many countries).
1. Window for returns
You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive the item to request a return.
If more than 30 days have passed, we generally cannot offer a refund or exchange. This 30-day return window is a common standard in ecommerce.
2. Condition of returned items
To qualify for a return or exchange:
The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition you received it
All original tags, dust bags, authenticity cards, accessories, and packaging must be included
You must provide proof of purchase (your order confirmation or receipt)
These conditions are common in luxury / fashion returns because resale value and authenticity are highly affected by wear, missing tags, or missing packaging. 
3. Items that are not eligible
We may refuse returns on:
Items that show signs of wear or use
Items missing original packaging or authenticity materials
Items that were marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at checkout
Any item returned past the 30-day window
We can also refuse returns if we believe the item was altered, damaged, or swapped.
(Some stores also exclude intimate wear, fragrances, or heavily customized items from returns. If you plan to sell those, you should call them out here explicitly.)
4. How to start a return

Clear photos (if there is damage or defect)
We’ll reply with next steps, including where to ship the item back. Many ecommerce stores require customers to first contact support so returns can be tracked and verified.
5. Return shipping
Unless we tell you otherwise in writing, you’re responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us.
If the item arrived damaged or incorrect due to our error, we’ll cover return shipping or provide an alternative solution. Clear instructions in the policy about who pays shipping are considered best practice.
6. Inspections and approval
When we receive your returned item, we will inspect it. If it meets the conditions above, we’ll approve the return for either:
Refund, or
Exchange / store credit (if available)
If we determine that the item doesn’t qualify (for example it’s been worn or is missing original pieces), we may decline the return and send it back to you.
7. Refund timing
Once a return is approved, we’ll process the refund back to the original payment method.
Please allow some processing time after we confirm receipt and approval. Many stores state this clearly so customers know a refund isn’t instant.
8. Exchanges
If you want to swap for a different size or color and we have it in stock, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund.
If we don’t have the requested replacement, we’ll proceed with a normal refund (if eligible).
9. Faulty or incorrect items
If you receive the wrong item, the wrong size, or a damaged/defective product, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We’ll work with you to replace it or refund you. Most ecommerce stores treat “we sent you the wrong thing / it arrived damaged” as an automatic approval scenario for return or refund.
